The emerald coast ( in the local dialect "Monti di Mola" meaning millstone mountains) takes its name from the sea of the emerald colour.

The heart of Costa Smeralda is Porto Cervo where plenty of services and commercial and residential centres are located as Romazzino, Cala di Volpe, Piccolo Pevero, Pevero Golf, Pantogia, e liscia di Vacca.

The coast has a lot of inlets, coves, beaches and is within a short distance from many enchanting isles among which the Maddalena archipelago.

Not far from Arzachena, Costa Smeralda municipality, you'll find  a lot of turistic night life resorts: Poltu Quatu, Baja Sardinia, Cannigione,e Porto Rotondo.

Shortly, plenty of places to explore to get in touch  with nature but to go shopping and amuse as well.
